D.OAK # 01 is a publication borned with the intention of showing the background of the work done by OAK stories from the beginning of its activity as a producer and agency of documentary projects in the year 2015.

We are delighted to announce that our project Essence du Bénin has been selected from hundreds of applications for the CAP Prize 2017.
Javier Corso is on the short list among 25 photographers. Five of them have the chance to be awarded with the sixth Prize for Contemporary African Photography to be announced in June 2017.

Next Wednesday 18th of January we have a date to talk about making documentary projects with two independent storytellers: Marina Calahorra and Javier Luengo. During the act, we will also show our documentary film “Essence du Bénin”, as a part of the Festival “Curts in Gràcia”.

"Tierra Verde", the second long-term project developed by OAK stories has just received its first grant to perform a photographic exhibition. The Joan Cabanas-Alibau Grant was delivered yesterday to Javier Corso, photographer of the project, in Sant Cuagt del Vallés by the Qgat-Foto Asocaition and the Cabanas Fundation.
OAK cask is the place where you can follow our ongoing projects; where we are, what we do, how we work. It is where our projects mature until they reach their finest audiovisual quality and the utmost journalistic rigor. Only then do we consider having a true OAK story.
